Can you find him after we set him free??

Jessie is holding him here.

We found this little turtle sunning himself on a rock. He is so cute! You can see that his whole shell is only about an inch in diameter.
Isn't this a beautiful place for lunch?

Chef Chris gets a break.

It is nice down at the river because some parts are deeper for fishing and then some is shallow for wading or floating. Today it was not warm enough to swim though. It was only about 68 degrees!
Mommy ran off to fish while dad cooks.
Jessie carries her butterfly net everywhere she goes!
The kids start exploring while daddy unpacks and starts to cook.

Today we went down to the Roaring River to spend the day.
During May here in Tennessee the fields turn yellow with little wild flowers.

On our last nature walk we found this neat deer skull. We found the two jaw bones about 500 feet from the skull itself.

These pretty trees are blooming all over town too.

Kenny learned how to pump his legs and swing too. Look at him go (well, he had a little help).
We spent a long time at the swings.

Dad got in on the fun too. This is Robinhood Park.

I'm flying!

Even the garbage trucks are new and pretty. See....

Here is Dad's office. Soon they will be moving to a bigger location.
It is a very pretty community.
Look at the view!

Everybody smile!

This is a really pretty building lot at Fairfield Glade. Not much back yard but look at the view!
Daddy Chris, Ricky, Jessie and Kenny too!

Happy Mothers Day! This is Jessie and I at Fairfield Glade - Chris' new job. This is a really nice resort here in Tennessee.

These are the pretty little flowers Jessie was picking.

Here is a nice deer track.
Ricky had fun too.
Jessie found an old mason jar and filled it with pretty flowers.
Recently we went on an adventure walk. We look for anything fun and interesting.
These are blooming everywhere.
These trees are beautiful! Springtime here in Tennessee is so pretty.
Last month my coffee pot died. So, I came up with this neat idea! Here it is. I must say though it does not taste as good as brewed coffee.

Last year we planted corn in our garden. A lot of corn - and we did not get to eat any. Well, we finally caught the thieves, here they are! If you look real close there are four deer, one is hiding.
