Pregnancy

Well, I am 26 weeks pregnant and my little boy is growing very good. He is very active and loves to kick and roll. I decided to take the plunge for Mothers Day and get my hair cut! I feel light and free :)

Here is the little changing area that we set up near the livingroom. That way when I am up in the night I won't disturb the sleeping daddy bear. And yes he is a bear when you wake him up just ask the kids!

Last weekend in Cookeville there was a huge consignment sale - as you can see I found the prettiest pooh swing. Right now I am 17 weeks pregnant, they say the baby is now the size of a turnip :) It's a good thing people don't leave visible fingerprints, Kenny spends all of his time attached to my tummy kissing and hugging the baby. At LEAST 50+ per day!

Hello! I wanted to thank all of my friends and relatives for all of the baby things! Here is our cute little crib - thank you cousin Sherri and Bob in Mass for the new baby mattress! Walmart said it would arrive soon. And of course a few more boxes of baby things :) You are so sweet :) I can't wait to see a picture of baby Ian - can I put him on my blog?

Hello! Everyone has been curious just how big am I getting. Yesterday was 14 weeks, and the baby is about the size of a lemon now. I am finally over the morning sickness - yeah! My clothes are no longer fitting - well except for all the sweatpants.

Chris and I on Monday had the best day. He is off on Sundays and Mondays and was able to come to my monthly baby checkup. It was so cool to hear the baby's heartbeat. It was very strong and steady. The smile on Chris' face was just beautiful, he was so excited ..... like a little kid!!! God is Great!!

You know, it really is the simple things in life that are the biggest blessings. A smile, smelling a flower, watching the clouds go by or just spending time with the one that you love. Always remember that things and money will never take the place of family and God's blessings. He loves us more than we will ever understand, and he will take care of you if you let him :)

Thursday January 8th was my first prenatal appointment. And I got to see the baby! The little one's head is on the right. The little rounds are the arms, with little fingers already. Then the big oval on the left of the head is the body and you can see the little rounds are the legs. Even the spine is well developed.

The baby was wiggling all around - very healthy!! God is GREAT!!
